Batteries Not Included

Make room for a little curiosity with Batteries Not Included, the Flemington toy shop featured in Stangl’s newsletters alongside Robert Wescott’s Sage Dad creations. Its market displays have included handcrafted wooden games and pieces for playful homes, celebrating the pleasure of making, exploring, and spending time together. There is something inviting about a game you can gather around and an object that encourages you to see what happens next.

Explore the gallery for a glimpse of the shop’s market history and its connection to local creativity. Think of a family afternoon, a thoughtful gift, or a new reason to put everything else aside for a while. These pieces speak to the simple joy of shared play and the memories that grow from it.
