Perfect Imperfections

Find beauty in the character of wood with Perfect Imperfections. The decorative work featured in Stangl’s newsletter includes a rustic wood-framed picture with a natural, irregular edge, letting the material become part of the design. That relationship between shape, surface, and image gives the piece an individual presence and invites you to notice details that a more uniform frame might leave behind.

Explore the gallery and imagine how a rustic accent could sit beside the objects you already enjoy at home. When the maker appears on a confirmed lineup, take time to see the available work and ask about individual pieces. It is an opportunity to choose a decorative object for its personality and bring a little of a maker’s creative eye into your surroundings.
